Switched interlocked sockets are safe, robust and easy to install

CEE Norm has expanded its range of switched interlocked sockets to meet the needs of industrially demanding and environmentally challenging applications. The range includes both splashproof (IP44) and watertight (IP67) socket outlets covering rated currents from 16A to 125A, voltages of 110V, 240V and 415V, and suited to 50Hz or 60Hz voltage frequencies for use worldwide.All the socket outlets in the range are switched with mechanical double-interlocking, and are available in 3, 4 and 5 pole versions. The 63A and 125A products are fitted as standard with a pilot contact.
Safe, robust and easy to install, the switched interlock sockets are manufactured from wear-resistant and impact-resistant plastic. The IP44 or IP67 sealing is assured through an integral foamed seal, which is silicon-, CFC- and halogen-free. The casing is secured using corrosion-resistant synthetic screws, and the design of the metric thread cable entries ensures that the watertight or splashproof sealing is maintained.
The interlocking mechanism in the base ensures a compact, space-saving design. The mechanical interlocking design provides switching in the load-free state, which means there is no plugging or unplugging under load conditions.
For assured safety, the CEE Norm sockets allow the switch to be locked in the 'off' position from any of three locking points. The functionality of the switched interlocked sockets can be expanded with the addition of an RCD/MCB or RCBO, accessed via a smoked glass flip-open window.
