Syntegon Launches Annex 1 Roadshow to Bring Solutions To Pharma Customers

  • Dedicated truck travels to customer sites across Europe through April 2027
  • Live demonstrations of automated contamination control technologies
  • Focus on practical Annex 1 compliance support from assessment to service

Syntegon, a strategic lifecycle partner to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and food industries, has launched its Annex 1 Roadshow. Starting from the group’s largest site in Crailsheim on September 29, a dedicated truck set off on its journey across Europe. Until April 2027, Syntegon experts will visit customer sites to discuss Annex 1 requirements as well as associated operational challenges and demonstrate technological solutions first-hand.

Co-creating answers to industry challenges

“Ever stricter regulations such as EU GMP Annex 1, changing therapeutic requirements, and talent shortage are putting biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturers as well as CDMOs under growing pressure,” says Stephan März, Executive VP Pharma Liquid at Syntegon. “As a strategic lifecycle partner, we are close to our customers and understand what matters most to them. With our Annex 1 Roadshow, we bring innovative technologies and expert advice directly to their sites. Together, we learn and co-create solutions that turn challenges into opportunities.”

From compliance questions to practical solutions

During each stop, customers can discuss questions around Annex 1 compliance with Syntegon engineering, sales, and service experts. They can also experience selected technological solutions first-hand in live demonstrations. Exhibits include First Air solutions, the SPC settle plate changer for automated environmental monitoring, an integrated glove tester, a PUPSIT filter test rack, and automated set-up tools.

“We support pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers as well as CDMOs in achieving Annex 1 compliance with an integrated lifecycle approach – from the initial assessment and implementation through to comprehensive service solutions such as modernizations, software, and reliable field service,” says Stephan März. “By listening closely to our customers, we continuously develop our portfolio; not only for Annex 1, but also across related areas of quality, performance, and compliance.”
