Tentec Offers a Certified Refurbishment Service to for All Makes of Tensioners and Torque Wrenches

Ever-mindful of the often harsh conditions in which bolt tensioners and torque wrenches are used, bolt tightening specialists, Tentec, offer a unique refurbishment and repair service where any make of tools can be returned to Tentec's HQ in the West Midlands and returned as good as new, within a specified time period.

As manufacturers of hydraulic bolt tensioning tools for over 20 years, Tentec is aware that after prolonged use in harsh environments, the tools are susceptible to component corrosion. This can significantly reduce the working life of the tool and the reduction in reliability is one the key attributing factors to hydraulic leaks. As well as problems with corrosion, over time some of the moving parts or seal sets may also need replacing for optimum use.

Tentec offers a consistent, dependable and prompt service for both maintenance and repair that gives users complete confidence that their tools are in the best possible condition for the job at hand.

The service is carried out by Tentec's highly experienced team of technicians and involves a complete strip down and clean; thorough examination for damage; cleaning; surface coating; re-sealing and a fully traceable pressure test complete with a 'Certificate of Pressure Test'. The refurbished tools will then be packaged and returned.

Bolt tightening equipment is used throughout the oil & gas, powergen, mining, renewables and industrial markets where reliable and consistent bolt tightening is a vital part of any safety procedure. It is very important that the tools are 'fit for purpose' and this service significantly prolongs the working life of the equipment, saving companies the added costs of purchasing new equipment.

As well as torque tensioning tools and wrenches, Tentec's service has been expanded to include hydraulic nuts and tensioner pumps.

All pumps purchased from Tentec are supplied with a certificate of calibration that is valid for 12 months from the date of dispatch. When the certificate expires the pressure gauge requires re-calibration and certification as per ISO 9001 calibration requirements. Tentec provides a calibration service that is traceable to national standards.
