The British Safety Industry Federation appoints key new Membership Services Manager

The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Angear to the newly created role of Membership Services Manager at the BSIF. Frank's role will be to maintain and improve membership services, promote the services of the BSIF to potential new members, liaise with external bodies and act as a reference resource to members for standards, approvals and legislation.Previously, Frank was Product Manager for Respiratory Protection at Scott Safety and held several managerial and sales roles at the global safety company since joining in 1994. Prior to this, Frank has had a continued and diverse career within the health and safety industry taking on a variety of different roles including: sales, marketing and training.
Commenting on his newly appointed role, Frank Angear said: "I'm looking forward immensely to applying my experience towards expanding the support the BSIF provides for its members, and acting in their interests as a link between them, and the various regulatory bodies and governing agencies who have a direct influence on our safety industry, and how it functions within the UK.
"It is vital that the BSIF continues to provide added value and further enhance its services, both to existing and new members, and I am delighted to have this opportunity to be part of the Federation's continued development"
David Lummis, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the British Safety Industry Federation adds: "Frank will be a wonderful additon to the growing team here at the BSIF. He brings with him a wealth of industry experience and knowledge, making him ideally suited to the newly created role.
"Franks appointment as Membership Services Manager is the first that the BSIF has made since it's inception in 1994, that strongly reflects the BSIF's mission to drive the Federation forward over the next few years. It is hoped that the new role will offer members additonal support with the Federation's ongoing initatives such as the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme (RSSS) and the Fit2Fit Tester Accreditation Scheme"
Frank's addtional duties will be to liaise closely with existing members to ensure the membership services the Federation delivers meet and exceed member expectations.
