The Eve Appeal in the Pink thanks to Thermaset and Allett Mowers

Staff at leading powder coatings company, Thermaset Limited, based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, are quite accustomed to unusual colour requests. However, when they were asked to supply a pink powder for a coating job for leading UK lawn mower manufacture Allett Mowers, they were left scratching their heads.All was revealed when they were told that a limited number of pink Sandringham 14E lawnmowers were being produced to support The Eve Appeal, the UK's only charity dedicated to raising funds for research into and awareness of all five gynaecological cancers.
As a result, Thermaset freely donated the pink powder which was then shipped to customer Diamond Metal Finishing in Stoke on Trent, who applied the powder coating to the mowers.
The striking pink lawnmowers will be available from all good garden machinery dealers and all revenue raised will be donated to the charity.
Thermaset's regional sales manager, Phil Strode, said: "When we were approached by Diamond Metal Finishing to supply the powder we were delighted to help Allett in this unusual fund raising initiative. The mowers look extraordinary and I'm sure they will help raise a significant sum for this very important charity."
