Sartorius' existing Industry Supreme platform scale range already provided a comprehensive selection of solutions, however, with the release of two new models this scope is extended even further. The ISBBS and ISDCS are fully built from stainless steel and are designed specifically to integrate into process scenarios with the strictest hygiene regimes. Like every other model from the IS range, the ISBBS and ISDCS are equipped with Sartorius' patented Monolithic weigh cell. Invented by Sartorius, this cell provides superior robustness and shorter weighing times, whilst still offering the highest levels of readability.A platform scale's position in a manufacturing plant places it directly in the path of numerous hazards. To combat any eventuality the IS series is designed to withstand anything. Massive overload protection, wrap around stainless steel load plates and German manufacturing with the highest quality components ensure an IS scale can last a lifetime. Like every solution from Sartorius, the IS series is designed to make weighing easier. As standard, every platform from the IS range is supplied with an integrated isoTEST key. This functionality allows users, with the touch of a button, to automatically calibrate the unit utilising integrated calibration weights. Additionally, every IS scale can work alongside an extensive range of systems including PCs, PLCs and Sartorius' Combics® indicator.
Cut from a solid block of aluminium the internal Monolithic weigh cell utilises 70% fewer parts than other leading load cells, lowering the levels of wear and tear on the system, and ensuring there are significantly fewer opportunities for mechanical problems to occur. This construction method also helps to greatly reduce the effects on accuracy that external factors such as temperature fluctuations can have. Monolithic weighing technology provides such an excellent build quality that the failure rate of Sartorius' systems is in tenths of a percentage point.
