The new face at ELGA Process Water is Sustainability Manager Sofia Figueiredo, who will be responsible for driving the action plan to reduce the company's environmental footprint and to develop technology, product and service innovations for business sustainability.ELGA Process Water is part of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, a leader in creating water solutions, so sustainability is already embedded within the company culture. With a strong global framework, Sofia will be responsible for developing an integrated strategy that reflects and supports the company objectives and enables ELGA Process Water to help customers grow in a more sustainable way.
With a first degree in environmental engineering, a masters from Cranfield University and four years experience in process design within the Veolia group, Sofia is eminently qualified for the job.
