TWO GRADUATES JOIN BRAMMER'S INTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Two highly-skilled graduates have embarked on the first graduate development programme at Brammer, the UK's leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services.Coming from an engineering, science, maths or business background, each of the graduates was selected based on their technical skills as well as their initiative, ability to think innovatively, and enthusiasm for working in Brammer's challenging and fast-paced environment. The two year programme will see the new recruits rotate between core areas of the business including finance, key accounts and marketing to give them a strong foundation and broad experience, with the opportunity to progress to a further two-year programme in order to specialise in their chosen areas. This second programme is aimed at building each graduate's career in a specific discipline, from branch or Insite™ management to key account management and development.

One of this year's trainees Babatunde Ologundudu, who graduated with a degree in Advanced Control & Systems Engineering from the University of Manchester, explained: "I worked hard to earn my degree but wasn't sure exactly which career direction to take. Brammer's graduate development programme is perfect for me as I'll be able to experience many different parts of the business before deciding where to specialise. The people I'll be working with are all experts in their field, and I know I'll have the best possible start in the manufacturing industry by learning from them."
Each individual is benefiting from a tailored development plan, mentoring from Brammer's senior employees, and the opportunity to undertake additional professional qualifications,all while tackling live projects day-to-day.
