Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced that last week the company hosted its highly anticipated UK&I Partner Summit – the first in-person event since the pandemic. Held at the iconic Mercedes Benz World, Weybridge, the event brought together Vertiv program leads and channel partners who currently work with Vertiv on digital critical infrastructure solutions, representing organisations of all sizes and tiers - silver, gold, platinum and diamond - who are helping their customers leverage Vertiv’s latest technologies to accelerate their digital transformation journeys.
Amongst the highlights of the event was a keynote session from Vertiv’s President of EMEA, Karsten Winther, during which he shared his perspective on the current state of the industry and provided market insights on pressing topics such as AI and sustainability.
Vertiv’s partners were presented with a view of Vertiv’s product road map that showed how and where the company will be addressing gaps in the market and providing solutions to support customer challenges, helping them to continue to grow their business. Partners were also transported into the metaverse when Vertiv showcased its virtual data centre and demonstrated how partners will be able to leverage virtual reality (VR) technology to improve their customer experience and enhance their selling capabilities.
As a bonus, attendees were able to see historic Mercedes cars, new sports cars and multiple past and present Formula 1 vehicles. They also had the opportunity to gear up with an exclusive track experience driving Mercedes AMG Sports cars, and then test their skills in a Formula 1 simulator fastest lap competition.
Martin Ryder, channel sales director for Northern Europe at Vertiv, said, “Our network of distributors and resellers are vital to Vertiv’s business and we recognise that we can only succeed if they succeed. With this in mind, we are committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with our channel partners, which means providing the portfolio, programs, tools and support required for an industry-leading partner program. We make sure that we include incentives, recognition and rewards for the great work they do.”
