Wyless Announces Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

Wyless today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Mike Coffey as President and CEO effective immediately. Mike and his Executive Team from the United States, Europe, and Brazil will be at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from March 2-5.Chris Lowery, Wyless Chairman commented, "On behalf of the board, I welcome Mike's appointment as our CEO and I look forward to continuing to work with him to further our impressive growth in the IoT industry. Mike's previous experience in scaling large technology-enabled businesses will be invaluable in our future development and he has already created a clear strategy to take Wyless to the next milestones. Our key focuses are growth of our core businesses, development of exciting new technology and above all, our customers. Our roadmap is simple; perfection of our existing Managed Services offerings combined with future technology will ensure that our customers succeed in the Internet of Things. Mike's team-based leadership approach will enable us to execute this roadmap and to continue Wyless' rapid evolution as the leader in IoT Managed Services."
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Coffey said, "As President and COO of Wyless, I was in an ideal position to fully appreciate the needs of our growing business. Mike Coffey joined Wyless in August of 2014 and was appointed President and COO on October 1. He began his career as a technologist with hands on roles spanning software development and networks then spent the last decade in executive management roles in technology-enabled companies. His experience includes startup to high revenue to public companies spanning SaaS, online technology, and niche business models.
Mike is a Cum Laude BS of Computer Science from RPI in upstate New York.
