Xylem's analytical involvement spans right across the food & beverage cycle; monitoring the water used to irrigate the crops we grow in the field, within the production and cold-chain distribution processes right through to the consumer. Quality control, food safety and efficient processing are paramount at every stage of the food chain and this is the theme of Xylem's booth in 2015.
A number of recognized Xylem brands will be exhibiting at IFT Expo 2015, booth 4409, including Bellingham + Stanley (refractometers & polarimeters), ebro (precision thermometers & data loggers), SI Analytics (pH/Cond/DO electrodes & meters), OI Analytical (GC detectors & TOC analyzers) and YSI Life Sciences (biochemistry analyzers).
Key product highlights include Bellingham + Stanley's latest RFM960-C Peltier temperature controlled refractometer that offers versatility over a wide measuring range; ideal for not only traditional Brix readings but also for samples such as flavors and aromatic oils. Latest color code menu structure and a Methods system make for easy use in either laboratory or factory environments. YSI's biochemistry analyzers provide rapid, accurate analysis of carbohydrates, alcohols, amino acids and electrolytes and YSI will be providing a complimentary copy of their latest food & beverage application note, Simultaneous Measurement of L-Lactate & Ethanol in Tomato-Based Products to interested visitors.
