Aquaculture Europe brings together leading scientific technologies under one roof with conferences, workshops and special sessions being held throughout the event.Xylem's focus at this year's show will include its pumping, disinfection and monitoring & control solutions for tank based aquaculture as well as presenting its capabilities for raceway and off-shore fish farming; all through its internationally recognised brands AANDERAA, Flygt, MJK, Wedeco, WTW and YSI.
When it comes to looking after sanitation, chemical free disinfection has many benefits. Wedeco's latest UV disinfection system and Ozone oxidation equipment offers great protection against pathogens for both fish and farmer without the need for chemical interaction. Wedeco will show its Spektron UV and OCS/GSO Ozone units and will distribute the latest white paper "Protecting Fish and Fish Farmers from Infectious Disease." Flygt's pump offering, which will be presented as "cutaway models" showing the benefits of Flygt's long history in application-specific pump design and manufacture, will also feature at the show.
Meanwhile, Xylem's analytical offering spans all genres of aquaculture, from tank to ocean based farming. Whether it is early warning buoy systems monitoring offshore metrological threats, water quality monitoring instruments in continuous formats like the EXO Sonde or ProODO Dissolved Oxygen handheld probes, or real-time telemetry and data handling; a myriad of analytical solutions will be on show with experts at hand to answer any specific questions.
