YAMATO LAUNCHES NEW SOLUTIONS AT PPMA TOTAL

Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK will be launching its new X-ray solution and its innovative new C-frame system for compact weighers at PPMA Total in Birmingham.The new products is taking pride of place on the Yamato stand B50, Hall 5, at the Birmingham NEC from 1-3 October.
Yamato's new X-ray YX20 represents an innovation in inspection technology. Compliant to BRC, Tesco and M&S standards, the Yamato X-ray YX20 series is an adaptable system with superior contaminant identification made possible by high sensitivity imaging using low energy technology.
Combining advanced linear array technology with inspection algorithms is proven for even the most difficult inspections.
Yamato's commercial operations manager Andrea Spencer commented: "The new YX20 can detect metal, stone, glass, bone and certain plastics. It can also scan for mass, missing
or broken products and detect packing voids. These capabilities will allow manufacturers to comply with the latest regulations for foods safety and weights and measures; and help save money."
The C-frame system is a unique pneumatic frame with a very small footprint, the C-frame is used for raising and lowering multihead weighers into position in the production line and supporting them during operations.
"It's all about productivity with the C-frame," said Andrea Spencer.
"Because it is light weight and portable the C-frame system allows one multihead weighing system to be removed and cleaned while the other lines remain in production, minimising the impact of downtime and maintaining productivity."
The C-frame is the ideal mobile weighing system for application of proteins on sandwiches, salads, pasta pots and other food products.
