The Inflatek®, inflatable seat valve is widely used for applications where other valves fail for reasons of temperature, abrasive material or high pressure. Its unique sealing technique ensures the valve is completely leak proof even when closing and sealing on a moving or static column of material. Latest improvements have made the valve maintenance-free while being able to perform one million cycles between inspections. It is widely used as an alternative to ball valves that cannot close and seal in the same way.

Primary customers are chemical processors where reliability combined with safe operation is critical. Improvements in manufacturing methods have provided considerable cost reductions and a new attractive pricing schedule is now in preparation.

Mactenn Systems is also active as a specialist provider of low velocity pneumatic conveying systems for applications conventional transfer systems cannot handle such as abrasive or fragile materials.
