DJB Instruments UK Ltd Launch New Low Cost Industrial Accelerometers

DJB Instruments UK Ltd announces the launch of the first few products in its low cost IEPE industrial accelerometer range that will be expanded throughout 2014. The A/140, A/140/S and A/140/C includes a top and side entry 2 pin Mil-C-5015 connector version in addition to an integral stainless steel overbraided cable version. Available immediately these accelerometers have already been on sale for some months and have successfully been installed at a number of customer sites in France and Europe. All manufactured from rugged stainless steel welded construction they are well suited to applications such as:-€¢ Wind turbines
-€¢ Steel mills
-€¢ Oil pipelines
-€¢ High speed trains
-€¢ Machine monitoring
-€¢ Safety monitoring
-€¢ Bearing analysis
The A/140 with 2 pin connector weighs just 81grams, has a standard sensitivity of 100mV/g (other sensitivities are available) and is supplied with a ¼-28 UNF mounting stud. Cable assemblies manufactured from stainless steel overbraided cable are available to order alongside the accelerometers.

DJB plan to expand the range in 2014 with velocity transducers.
