ERIKS ACQUIRED ALL SHARES OF THE NEWDELL COMPANY, HOUSTON, TEXAS

The Newdell Company is a stocking distributor of a broad range of standard as well as special material valves, used in the petrochemical, chemical and refinery markets with its headquarters in Houston, Texas. The Newdell Company is the exclusive American distributor for 'Pan Korea' industrial valves and for 'Smith' forged steel gate, globe and check valves.With around 80 employees the company generates annual sales of USD 40M.
In August 2010, ERIKS has acquired the Houston based instrumentation and valve distributor Rawson, Inc. (revenues USD 100M), servicing the Gulf region through 17 branches.
Both Rawson, Inc. and The Newdell Company will operate as separate units within ERIKS Flow USA. The acquisition of The Newdell Company is in line with ERIKS' strategy to build a platform for Flow Technology in North America.
After the acquisition of The Newdell Company, total annual sales of ERIKS in North America, including ERIKS Rubber and Plastics, Inc., amounts to around USD 200M.
