Finish Thompson Inc. Spotlights ANSI Dimensional Pumps

UCR and UCP Series engineered for corrosive fluid transfer with leak-free performance

Finish Thompson Inc. (FTI), an international leader in the corrosive chemical transfer industry, highlights its ANSI sealless pump offerings from its ULTRAChem® centrifugal mag-drive line of pumps for corrosive fluid applications, featuring its UCR and UCP series. As ANSI dimensional pumps, the UCR and UCP help simplify installation and replacement while supporting consistency, safety, and reliability in industrial processing environments.

ANSI, or the American National Standards Institute, oversees the development and implementation of standards used throughout U.S. industries. Additionally, ANSI represents more than 270,000 companies and organizations and a total of 30 million professionals worldwide. In pump applications, ANSI dimensional standards help promote consistency in installation and system design, making them a strong fit when facilities need dimensional interchangeability, easier integration, and a standardized footprint for chemical processing operations.

The UCR Series is engineered for exceptional reliability in extreme chemical processing applications. With pure ETFE housing lining, barrier liner, and molding over the magnets, along with ductile iron construction and powerful neodymium magnets, the UCR provides a high level of corrosion resistance for severe-duty service, with working pressures up to 300 psi, temperatures up to 250°F, and flow ranges from 1 to 1,450 gpm.

The UCP Series also provides chemical resistance and enhanced hydraulic capabilities, but at a competitive cost. Its polypropylene/ETFE construction offers a more economical alternative to pumps made with ETFE exclusively, while still delivering lined-pump performance, with working pressures up to 300 psi, temperatures up to 180°F, and flow rates up to 450 gpm.

Both series feature a sealless mag-drive design for leak-free operation with no environmental emissions, no double mechanical seals, and no seal support systems. Applications include plating, mining, chemical manufacturing, metal manufacturing, and fume scrubber service where uptime, maintenance efficiency, and corrosion resistance are critical.
