Laidler runs UCPD course on European Machinery Safety

Laidler Associates, the leading machinery safety consultancy and training company is running its University Certificate in Professional Development (UCPD) on European Machinery Safety at four different locations throughout 2011. The first one is set to take place on the week beginning Monday 28th March at Ramada Hotel, Bolton.The UCPD course includes a week's classroom training which covers in detail the regulatory framework relating to machine safety and will inform attendees on; CE Marking, PUWER, Mechanical EN Standards, Electrical EN Standards and Practical Risk Assessment. Once the training is complete the students then have 16-weeks of distance learning to complete their final assessment which consists of the PUWER Assessment and CE Marking of a machine using Laidler's virtual reality package.
Not only is the UCPD course university accredited, thereby ensuring that it meets the highest standards, it also offers successful participants university credits that can be used towards additional formal qualifications.
