New acoustic specialist joins Chelsea Technologies Group

Increased sales of Chelsea Technologies' underwater acoustic products has led to the appointment of acoustics specialist Kimberley Walrond.

Kimberley said of her appointment: "I am pleased to have joined an innovative company that has a reputation for excellence within the underwater acoustics market. Working within the acoustics team I shall be maintaining Chelsea's existing acoustics product range and spearheading the development of new products. I am particularly excited about working with clients and advising on the best solutions for their particular applications, whether military or commercial. I'll be on the Chelsea stand at the Ocean Business show in April so please come and say hello."

Chelsea Technologies Group has nearly 50 years experience in the design and manufacture of underwater acoustic transducers including hydrophones, projectors, pingers and sidescan sonar arrays. We are also leaders in the design of state of the art systems for calibration, test & performance evaluation of airborne, surface ship and submarine sonars.

"Kimberley's excellent physics and mathematics background made her an ideal choice to join our acoustics team", said Dr John Attridge, Technical Director.
