Confirmation that the German gear and drive manufacturer, Framo Morat, is expanding its production into Poland is very good news for British customers. Not only will the move increase the company's engineering and assembly capacity but also provide increased resources for new product innovation and reduced development times for new drive solutions.Since 2007, Framo Morat standard and special products have been sold and supported in the UK by R. A. Rodriguez who report consistent growth in demand for the products, in particular for Compacta slip-on geared motors. Last year, the Letchworth based company also added Framo Morat standard and custom worm gear sets to its product programme, a field of technology in which Framo Morat is now world-renowned.
Indeed, the establishment of the new production site in Nowa Ruda in Poland will be particularly beneficial to this part of the Framo Morat business as it will free-up production space at its current site in Eisenbach in Germany for future growth in gear technology. Manufacture of the company's fastest selling products will transfer to the Polish production site as early as the summer of 2015.
