Workplace equipment supplier Slingsby has been named as the UK's best Industrial and Warehouse Supplies Business at the prestigious European Catalogue & Mail Order Direct (ECMOD) Commerce Awards.The awards recognise the highest quality multi-channel retail businesses and were presented at a glittering ceremony at London's exclusive Hurlingham Club, which was hosted by Sky News anchor Dermot Murnaghan.
Slingsby supplies more than 35,000 workplace products through its website and catalogue, which is a familiar sight in all types of businesses and organisations. This year the company also invested an estimated £½ million in its 'Price Drop' campaign which has seen it reduce or hold prices on more than 8,000 products.
