The critical role of UK-made process filters and housings in global pharmaceutical manufacturing is set to take the spotlight at a major industry event in the USA.
Experts from 41-year-old Surrey-based firm Amazon Filters are preparing to exhibit at the annual meeting and expo of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) in Washington DC from 18 to 21 October 2026.
They will highlight filtration solutions for applications ranging from API production and sterile manufacturing to pharmaceutical processing and final product filtration.
On Stand 1151 at what is ISPE’s biggest annual event will be Dan Knight, Amazon Filters’ business development manager for North America, and sales intern colleague Jack Pizzey.
Together they will display Amazon Filters’ new, improved range of SupaCap capsules and its SupaClean system while discussing the wider pharmaceutical filtration portfolio.
Dan said: “Our SupaCap capsule filters are an ideal way to improve safety, handling, and catalyst or precipitate recovery in cleanroom and lab environments.
“At the same time, SupaClean enables manufacturers to achieve consistent product quality while improving operator safety in applications that involve potent or hazardous materials and chemicals.
“SupaClean is specifically designed for catalyst capture and recovery, solvent recovery and general precipitate removal.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand at ISPE USA and demonstrating how our pharmaceutical portfolio can help reduce handling risks and minimise operator exposure without compromising performance.”
The Washington DC showcase is the latest stop on a busy international calendar of pharmaceutical industry events for Amazon Filters.
The company has already exhibited at ISPE events in Copenhagen and Singapore and at the giant InterPhex expo in New York.
Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Maryland, USA, ISPE is a global organisation with more than 2,600 members. They include pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical professionals such as process engineers and developers, chemists, pharmacists and production managers.
